A new gym? On campus? BRILLIANT!

A new gym is going into the new dormitory that is being built in front of Dellplain Hall. The gym is going to be massive, having several thousand square feet of gym space, and an additional two-thousand square foot dance studio. Interim Director of Recreation Services, Joseph Lore said Syracuse is in the midst of a huge expansion facility-wise. A good chunk of his plan is adding onto exisiting gyms, like putting TVs in Marion, and moving some more equipment into Brockway.
When this gym is built, Syracuse will be among the top 100 schools in the country for fitness facilities per volume of machinery. Also, in the future, Lore hinted at an entirely new gym on South Campus, although he didn't specify whether it would be placed in a residence hall, or in another building completely. Also, another seperate gym facility is going to be added on North campus, independent of any residence hall or existing building. There is no times table for these events, but it looks like SU is getting healthy, and it is getting there quicker than ever.
