Lacrosse Fall Ball

Players of the men's lacrosse team were hanging out and having a meal at Schine Student Centre, bracing themselves for tough day of practice. The team wants to make up for the failures of last year when they missed the playoffs for the first time in 25 years. Sophomore goalie Alex Cavalieri says despite the disappointment of last year, the team is confident heading into the season.

"We're pretty motivated, it seems like we're going twice as hard in practice. I think both offensively and defensively we'll make big improvements,” Cavalieri said.

With 8 high school All Americans coming in this year, as well as the returning players from last year, Cavalieri says the team has enough talent for a successful season. The team will get its first chance to prove itself when they play Stonybrook and Hofstra in a tournament on October 13th.
