Chief Justice to speak at Newhouse III dedication

Chief Justice of the U.S. John Roberts will deliver the keynote address at the dedication ceremony of Newhouse III. The ceremony will take place September 19 and marks the official opening of the building. Steve Davis, the newspaper chair in the Newhouse School, says he thinks it's one of the top three events in the school's history.

"I can't think of anybody who is a more important position when it comes to issues of importance to people in the journalism business," Davis said.

The building's opening comes after over a year of construction, which is expected to be completed by Wednesday. In addition to Roberts, SU chancellor Nancy Cantor and Newhouse Dean David Rubin will speak at the ceremony.
