So, it had to be fitting that the OnCenter has the shiniest and cleanest floors out of any building...and that they were hosting the SANICO cleaning expo. The floors were so clean, and my shoes were so impractical, that I stumbled 4 times, tripped 3 times, and full on WIPED OUT face first on the floor, scattering the contents of my bag, my keys, and 2/3 of the contents of my Red Bull on the handicapped entrance to the OnCenter once.
I learned a lot about Microfibers when I was there. I got to speak to a sales rep named Diane (who didn't want to give a recorded interview), and she was telling me all about how microfibers are going to revolutionize industrial cleaning. She demonstrated all of these microfiber towels on my hands, and they were so good at getting into nooks and crannies, that they even snagged on my finger prints.
I also couldn't report on my favorite thing; Expo's = FREE STUFF. When I was there, the sales people were trying to stuff things into my arms and bag, even after I told them I was not allowed to take anything. I almost made it out of there with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, Clorox wipes, a frisbee, pens, pencils, a calculator, a calendar, wood floor cleaner, a mop head... you name it, I almost got it.
