Being an anchor is definitely a tough job. Fortunately, Team A was an amazingly supportive group, and my producer and reporters saved me from drowning again.
My story was about Chrysler’s job cuts. What I did not include in my story was that originally Chrysler was going to cut 13’000 jobs earlier this year, but they re-evaluated the market and decided they were only going to cut 12’000. Also, although it said on the A.P. wire that Chrysler will be cutting job at four plants, it is actually cutting jobs at plants all over the U.S, but “focuses” on four of them. Chrysler is taking four models out of its line- Dodge Magnum, the convertible version of Chrysler PT Cruiser, Chrysler Pacifica and Chrysler Crossfire, but it’s also adding two models in its new line-up- the Dodge Journey and Dodge Challenger.
Also, the guy that talked to me on the phone was David Elshoff. He’s Chrysler's communications guy. Although this is completely trivial and irrelevant, I still feel the need to let you know that this guy was EXTREMELY friendly and approachable. He actually called me back and apologized for missing my calls twice, and after that he eagerly answered all of my questions.

That's it. This is my blog.
