Laid back...
For the fourth time in the last five weeks I was once again on team A. This time as a producer. I think it wasn't as easy as some people let on but I enjoyed the experience and can't wait to take another swing at it. I didn't remember much about making rundowns because we learnt that so long ago, however as John, Paul, Ringo and George say, "I get by with a little help from my friends." Anyway, I kind of messed up one of the copy stories I wrote and it was only when we were going into the booth I realized that I made a bunch of typos that would definitely mess up my anchor so I quickly pulled that story and was ready to insert a floater. However Gino read at a very good pace and the floater wasn't needed, in fact I ended up cutting a second story. The stories I cut were one about the stock market absolutely plummeting today, and one about Cuomo suing a Real Estate Company. Picking stories was probably the most difficult part, especially since it felt like a slow news day. I think I did alright though. I think what i did best was keeping a calm head towards the end, I just didn't want to freak out and put any pressure on the rest of my staff. It was nice working with them and the best part of our group was definitely communication. We all helped each other out on everything. By the way the picture is from CNNMoney.com and it is Dow Jones graph for today (I didn't know how to put a caption under the picture).

Thanks for being so patient with me and my last minute story. You're an awesome producer. And you bet the strength of our team was definitely our communication.
